Ask any outside fan like myself on any other NBA message board on the internet, and the veneration for the 6x all star is apparent. Outside of Tim of course, easily the highest regarded Spur of the 21st century. They would not be able to fathom that a group existed consisting of the most obnoxious, ignorant, and vile player fans imaginable who would attack Spurs legends the way they have unchecked just to prop up their pathological worship of one young roleplayer.

yeah, the manu hate was pretty crazy after the '13 finalsParker was disliked by many on Spurs forums in the early to mid 2000s, partly for his playoff performance, but mostly because of the Manu vs. Parker dynamic..Manu's style of play and large Hispanic fanbase among Spurs fans made him popular, often at the expense of Parker..
Over the years, Parker developed a "little brother" type of following, where most of the popular and "knowledgeable" posters here would defend him against haters..however, once Parker became the best player on the team in 2012, the environment changed..a lot more French posters, timvp and the leader of the Parker fanbase, Bruno, would take subtle shots at Ginobili whenever he struggled, etc..
In 2013, when Manu had his horrible showing vs. the Heat, the forum blew up with Manu hate, I've never seen a player get killed more by a fanbase..most Manu fans were annoyed and upset, but the majority didn't complain, they just defended their arguments and moved on..
However, when it was Parker's turn in 2015, it was a no-no..a few of us became widely hated by this blind cult, most of them the same posters that destroyed Ginobili during his struggles, because we voiced our concerns of Parker the basketball player..the Parker "hate" paled in comparison to Manu in 2013, where people here were wishing death on him..I guess it's because we predicted Parker's decline far earlier than most of these morons that continued to defend him blindly
The Kawhi stuff is harmless, you shouldn't let it annoy you or even bother responding..the anti-Kawhi posters use poor material and ty arguments(Matt Barnes, misusing numbers, etc), just like they did in the anti-Manu days..
and oddly enough, the great yacht was one of the main haters

Anyway,I always felt Manu hate was a symptom of the bad playoff year's and a product of him being the first true tosb big three. The Parker hate was dumb because we had just won a championship. Second, the Parker hate was led my a dumb Canadian troll who wouldn't shut up. If there were just one huge Parker thread and it wasn't a compe ion to upstage each other y'all would be much more tolerable
