What you say is all true about Odom, dude won the life lottery and squandered it all. Still I feel sympathy towards him and his family. I hope he recovers and finds a way to get his together...it's just called being human.

I think u guys are giving the Khloe break up way too much credit. On numerous occasions she wanted him back...I just think Lamar fell heavily into drugs. Tbh, I know many girls here in So Cal who claim Lamar and them did drugs (when Lamar was in his prime) and to me this is the way the guy coped with his demons. The worst thing about drug addicts is their ability to push the envelope year after year. It might have caught up with him...hopefully not
u have every right not to sympathize but dude relax with the harsh criticism. You even have the right to criticize (granted on 99% of the internet ud be banned for ur comments and im glad u dont get banned for speaking ur mind here) but life is ed up for some people. I have always been a recreational marijuana user (once every few months here and there) and I never understood why some people fell into crack or even coke. Never even tried it myself but I always felt sorry for drug addicts because they truly are cursed.

FOH, I bet you think you are an insider just b/c you live inside Kobe's ass hole. Odom was a mess before Pau arrived after he had revived his career w/ the Heat b/c Kobe killed his self-esteem & never defended him when the media was criticizing him for not living up to his potential. Of course Kobe started playing nice once they started winning but he didn't even stand-up for Odom/Pau (actually threw him under the bus) when they were on the trading blocks when the team was no longer a championship contender.
Kobe likes Odom b/c Odom is a beta who has no spine & would do whatever Kobe asked of him without talking back as if he was his kid.

I wont choose this time to correct ALL the ways you are wrong here, but if anyone deserves the credit for Odom's play it would be fisher and Phil and even Luuuuke as leaders more than Pau (or Kobe). Pau is a great player but has never been the leader of any team he was on that did anything before this summer with Spain.
You can think what you want ... but Kobe's fire, Phil's mind games and the leadership of Fisher are all parts of what made Pau what he is and also made Lamar the best he could be. Pau at least has shown he could take what he learned and thrive elsewhere.

FOH, Pau had Team USA on their knees in 2008 & carried a mediocre Grizzle team to the postseason. He's a beta but he was a good teammate & a good locker-room guy which is what you need to surrounded people w/ shaky confidence/self-esteem issues. Luke was also a laid back dude just like Pau who wasn't screaming at Odom. Shyt, even Phil isn't know for yelling at his players. On the other hand, Shaq being as Type B as they get couldn't even stand Kobe. Odom was thriving in Miami before he landed w/ the cancer that was Kobe, Pau turned down millions b/c he didn't want the cancer to metastasized. There is a reason why nobody wants to sign w/ the Lakers as long as Kobe is on the roster & every role player talks about him. DEAL W/ IT!
I don't know how anybody can take anything out of this situation other than it just sucks. Hope it ends up better than it's looking.

Still wrong an all caps feminine style "deal with it" doesnt make it any less so. I am not a Lakers insider nor connected to the franchise officially but I do know people that are. So you can eat up media conjecture and bull I am telling you that you are wrong. you can believe me or not, matters little. But I can tell you that all of the players mentioned (including Pau in a different way not leadership) all had positive influences on Lamar.
