Love still seems like a weird pick. Dude looked kinda washed in Cleveland, but not sure how much of that is declining talent or just a lack of s to give.
Honestly, he seems like the Christian Laettner charity pick of this group.
Starters: Durant, Tatum/Middleton, Adebayo, Beal, Lillard
Bench: Booker, Middleton/Tatum, Green, Holiday
Deep bench: Love, LaVine, Grant
You kind of answered your own question/statement. Also, out of the elite ones, the only one they might have to go through is Jokic, but his team isn't good enough to worry about.
Davis and Turner are injured and there's really no one else worth mentioning at this stage. Wood might be the closest thing to an omission.

Colangelo is fully aware of Grandpas limitations and isn't about to have another Team USA fiasco.
The car keys have been hidden. Gramps will allowed to wheelchair around the facility but only under supervision.
It's a good thing.
"Unlike in 2019, when the Americans finished a disappointing seventh in the World Cup with a team that featured traditional centers and limited shooting, this roster is filled with players who can play multiple positions and are shooting specialists.
"Versatility and athleticism are trademarks of this group," said Colangelo, who will retire following the Tokyo Games after 16 years of leading Team USA. "Our staff feels this will be a very compe ive group and we'll have shooting that we've been lacking. We're going to go into camp feeling confident we're going to perform well."
True. The league is so different than the days of the giants. Funny to think of Robinson, Ewing, Shaq and Mourning all being in the league at the same time, and now the best we can roll out there is Bam Adebayo. It's going to be a little interesting from that perspective. This team is a lot of shooters and not a ton of size. Still probably too talented to lose, even to a team that can take advantage of that a little bit, but these one and done situations can produce some crazy outcomes sometimes.
Scouting for a trade?
If It’s printed on the internet it must be true
the Olympics are declining in popularity due to obvious corruption, so it'll be up to key players like lebron to commit and bring friends. I don't know what silver thinks about it, but i do know if Silver could put nba into the summer he would to maximize revenue. Having a more corrupt set of officials take profit from him can't be that great and the nba already has good world fandom reach. US basketball has it's own politics and i want pop to win, then retire because nothing about this is clean.
"Colangelo cited two reasons for his choice, per Marc Berman of the New York Post: Love's Olympic experience and the team's need for role players."
I would pay money to see Popped and Colangelo get beat in the Commercial Games.
Randle is super low IQ but you don't need to be ing him over for Kevin Love.
There are going to be teams where the U.S. may need some people with the ability to play in the post. Although, I'd of probably considered someone like Deandre Ayton as a role player for the 5 spot. I don't think Love will be horrible, however. The U.S. will get pushed in a couple of games, I have no doubt, and they may need to put some bigger bodies on the floor. A lot of these international players have played together and that team experience goes a long way. In a one and done situation I'm pretty certain someone could topple the Americans. I wouldn't want to coach the Olympic team these days. Win and you were supposed to win, lose and you're an awful coach.
this man is not retiring anytime soon
Actually, I think he sees it as his last hurrah. Maybe that’s why he hasn’t seemed as focused on the Spurs for the past two years.
you spend a lot of time around Pop, i take it.
Tamper it up Pop, sell them on Becky.
I know Becky doesn't have nearly the clout as the other assistants on Team USA, but it actually would've been a good idea to include her. If the biggest stars in the league were coached by her and came out backing her, then it would have a trickle down effect.

Team USA coach Gregg Popovich said three players from the US select team (which practices against the Olympic team) are out of training camp due to testing positive to COVID-19. No Olympic player tested positive, he said.

Phew, was instantly worried Keldon was gonna be on that least. Can only mean more minutes/bigger roles for the players left on the Select Team... Time to show 'em, Big Body!
You may get this for free as a team like Australia or even better Slovenia could do it.
this ing guy is going to coach the Spurs for 10 more years
LMAO
i remember when that person responded to my post.
Literally everything you know about any of this is something you read or heard on the internet..
Cool experience for KJ...

Will Pop get another bronze?
