Every Spurs player had their moments. Spurs would have got blown out last season in a game like this. When the game is tight at the end of the game, this team is lost. Too soon to worry.

Except for the ups, I though the defense was generally good.. if we don't make the mistakes, we probably hold them under 100... that's very good... now, the offense will need work

Lamarcus for sure had a bad game. He won the Celtics game for us down the stretch. It was a team effort of course, but he rose to the occasion. He was lost here all game. Priority no. 1, we have to get him right and going on. Then work on everyone else, seriously.
Kawhi is ready for his role, but Lamarcus is lost among all the shuffle. Many other guys played terrible. Even as bad as they were they had a shot to win this if they had cleaned up their mistakes. No need to rush this.
Lamarcus and Kawhi both were getting doubled pretty badly, and there were no cutters or others looking for a pass. Their execution was horrible, just horrible.

I'm sure everybody is doing their best to make it happen this season... just saying there's no guarantees...
The Spurs always thrived in familiarity, that's what made them largely being great closing games, or starting the season in a romp, etc... this season that's not going to be there. So we're gonna have to work extra hard for it.
It's like asking Richard Sherman to cover Julian Edelman, the size difference is an issue when he has to turn the corner b/c smaller guys are lower to the ground thus can change direction much quicker. Kawhi is strictly the best wing defender in the league.

It's just awful. We really should have gone 10-1. Chemistry or not, these 10 games are easily winnable if we play decent. I mean how many to's did we have? More than 20? Atleast 10 in the 4th? That's not how you play basketball, just frustrating is all.
