Wiggins is still very raw and has alot of potential. His improving defense alone is going to keep him in the league for a long time.

Barnes is not as good but solid on defense and should get credit his ability to play 4 when Draymond goes to center is a key to their small ball lineups. Although not as good on the perimeter he defends the post better than Wiggins

I'm not writing him off..I'm a big fan of him as a person, and I'm actually friends with a few guys that are close and grew up with his older brother..

His potential is evident, but I think he's definitely overrated right now..he currently has minimal impact on the game, can't shoot 3s, and he hasn't shown the elite defense that he was expected to bring..

To be fair, he's playing for a terrible franchise, currently being coached by the 2nd worst coach in the NBA IMO..a team with Sam Mitc at coach + KG/Prince in the starting lineup is not going to help a young player elevate his game..

Wolves should trade Lavine to anybody that would take him, though..he's absolutely garbage..

It's just stunning that Wiggins came into this season with absolutely no improvement to his raw game, but this was the best game of the season for him.
