One of the biggest problems I see with him is the tendency go always go for the big play. He’s got a reverse Joe Flacco problem. Joe Flacco regularly likes to check it down for a 4 yard gain on 3rd and 10 while Rodgers likes to chuck it downfield on 3rd and 3.

Yes. And he tries waaaaaaaaaay too damn hard to be the anti-Favre in the past several years, but that means he takes too many sacks, especially on 3rd down. He needs to let it fly and give his receivers a chance.

that stat is kinda weak though. for instance they came back in week 1 against the Bears this year, who have turned out to be quite a good team this year with a good winning record. but since they were 0-0 at the time it doesn't count.
