Nobody had a problem in the past with people making threads about campaigning for Duncan as DPOY, etc, but they have a problem with OP wanting Kawhi to get MVP votes?..the double standards here are pretty ridiculous these days..last year really shook everybody up, I suppose
I'm not even going to try to look them up, but I think you would see a number of people saying that the campaigning was stupid, and that Duncan himself didn't give a damn about the awards. (As if THEY knew Tim personally, and what he was or wasn't concerned with.) I remember too many of those discussions going on.
John Lucas may have played DRob 44 minutes on the last game of the season, to let him take the scoring le. But somehow I don't think Pop is going to alter his game plan to help Kawhi get more media votes. So it's really a moot point.
