You mean the Spurs win 60% of the time Kawhi has >= 18FGAs?
That's pretty good, thanks for the stat
For reference Spurs are globally a 70% winning franchise
Since Spurs signed kawhi, Spurs lost 40% of the time when Kawhi took at least 18 FGAs (15 games 6 losses and 9 wins). It seems this Heroballing (fortunately not that frequent yet) takes the rest of the team out of the games...
It's only 15 games so no big deal but now Kawhi is Spurs best player and his share on the offense is gonna increase, we will see much more of those +18 FGAs games. Is it something to be worried about tbh ?
Parker, in his prime, found a way to logg a 80% winrate by involving his teammates and giving assists. He maybe should help Kawhi finding the good balance...
On a side note, too bad Tony is now past his prime... imagine both playing together on their prime tbh

I suspect we were playing some really good teams when he had those games with 18+ FGA.
He's doing exactly what the coaches are asking him to do, tbh.
Sup, hater?
That's actually pretty bad compared to the % of win when kawhi has <= 18 FGAs or compared to a winning % of the franchise around 70% tbh fwiw
Also 60% over 82 games is a season below 50 wins which is not very Spurs... you barely make the POs with 60% in the west
When Parker shot 18+ FGA, it wasn't because of the coaches telling him so. He controls his shots and minutes played. That's why we call him Enrique. Kawhi is innocent of hero balling, these are Pop's orders
The double standard around here is a joke.
Good thing it's only a SSS and not an every game occurrence. That equates to about 49 wins and possibly the eighth seed in the western conference.
List those games.
Because most of those games are when the big 3 weren't playing.
I agree. MORE PARKER PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
It's difficult to say how good or bad it is without comparing to the win % of other players in similar instances. I suspect 60% is actually pretty good, but feel free to compile the list to compare...
I mean isn't 70% the winning most record the Spurs have across all pro sports?
Last season, in games with 17+ FGA, we are 10/13 (76%)
18+ means he's forced to, that's when Parker is getting shut down and finally has to give up the rock, only against good teams. Spurs stop giving Leonard the ball when they're up, and they're generally up because of Leonard. Leonard doesn't really try against lesser teams either, Parker on the other hand lol...
Nothing sadder than when people respond to a troll thread without additional humor. Sad display by the kawhi white knight crew.
Obv the old kawhi had limited passing skills and the greater spurs offense involved the motion or hyper motion offense, which kawhi wasn't smart enough to do back then. When kawhi went for glory it was cause pop wanted to lose in the hopes of training Leonard to be more team friendly. Well we saw that fail last year so the best we can do is have Leonard lead us until lma gets comfortable. Maybe with more time kawhi will learn to pass to lma more. Until then let him chuck.
Hopefully LMA will lead the team in FGA tonight so we can finally get our first win...
Not sure where you're getting 70% from but the Spurs don't even own a .600 winning % in franchise history.
In games where TP has 17+ FGA, we are 10/16 (62.5%)
Like Elnono pointed out, 60% is still pretty damn good.
Lol. French got OP destroyed with first post.
