Why make a comeback? That was so much Spurs. Now it hurts. If you're gonna lose, well lose, convincely. Not this .
Always happens.. I guess it shows we can be good but I don't wanna see that . Always get my hopes up for nothing. I had already accepted the loss damnit!

Only re s that look at worthless numbers like ppg(SASdynasty for example) ever thought this dude was a star

He's an okay complimentary player but that's about it. Anybody that runs their offense through LMA is going to end up first round fodder like Portland the last few years. He had one fluke series vs Houston but has been otherwise an inefficient chucker his entire playoff career.

yeah dude relies on too many jumpers

Spurs are only going to go as far as Kawhi takes them against legit teams, he was under the weather tonight & DeRozan took advantage. It's not a coincidence that the Spurs made a comeback when Kawhi started showing signs of life.
Maybe get him in a rhytem instead of letting him figure out way to score like a freelancer.

Are you suggesting he got gastroenteritis sucking ass?
That's a possibility, tbh. Maybe he got something from the Eagles while the Spurs were in Philly, tbh.

I take solace in the fact that the Dubs would've only beaten the short-handed Raps tonight by 10 points so it's not that embarrassing, tbh. Seriously, the Raps are a good team, but it would be nice to beat a legit team on the road.

Amused game thread = something awful. We're lucky no one suffered a season ending injury.

lol oh I know - just for s and giggles.

But we've been telling him to stop making GTs for years now. Luckily we got out of this one without an injury.

Bruce Bowen would have gotten at least double that in today's NBA.
I doubt it. Bruce's offense isn't good enough to get paid double (even in today's NBA). What is Tony Allen making? That's probably around what Bruce would get paid in today's NBA.

Green got his contract based mostly on his offense to go along with really good defense. If you take away Green's offense the past few years, he's not worth more than 2-3 million even in today's NBA IMO.

Tony Allen is making $5+ Million and he can't shoot. So Bowen would easily make double.

Oh, double his 3 million salary? Yeah, I can agree with that. I think he'd get around 6-8 million max, probably closer to 6 though. I thought you meant he'd be making 10+ million (what Danny is making right now) when you said over double. I was just saying that no matter how good his defense is, his offense couldn't have gotten him near 10 million, IMO.

    So far in November:

    - gy Green (5 games): 3.3ppg (FG: 21%; 3P: 8.3%)
    -Kirby (6 games): 18.2 ppg (FG: 31%; 3P: 25%)

Oh no, that's why I bolded that one section. I agree Bowen would make around $6-8 million. I also agree that DG's defense alone isn't worth $10 million. Spurs paid him $10 million because he was a 40+% 3P shooter as well as a good defender.

Still, I have faith in Danny, because when he's on the Spurs are a tough team to beat.

Starters just didn't show up. It happens over the course of an NBA season.

    Actually Green is: 4.2 ppg (FG: 24.1% 3P: 15.8%)

They usually don't update the ESPN stats until midnight PST so it's just showing his averages before today's game. Same thing with Kobe but the Lakers are still playing.

    Also it's December not November.
