There's legitimate reasons for wanting to stay anonymous. If you stick around a certain board long enough, esp. one that attracts and keeps crazies like this one (bec. of little moderation), you put yourself at needless risk of getting defamed by not going anonymous. They can photoshop your pictures, stalk your social media, etc. that. Even if the risk of that happening is probably minor (especially minor if you yourself don't seek confrontation), it's still not a risk worth taking. That and you get very little or nothing really in return for being public with what you look like or what ever other information. None of that stuff really concerns me here.
