Porker thought the game started in the 2nd quarter & Boris decided to show up in the 4th, typical lazy Frenchies
Remind me how are the French "typically" lazy?

Kyle struggled this game and he was frustrated with himself at the end. Lost in the trap and his mistakes were a few good shots he had and good defense he kept up for long stretches. He will be up and down and will struggle on occasion like tonight, the less he plays a limited role and starts to figure out what he can and cannot do. You have to put guys in situations and let them figure it out. If the don't lesson learned for another time. I didn't see him post up a single time, I think Pop let him play free and well /gulp make mistakes and he made them.

    On the positive side:

Boban along with so many other guys (long list starting with Kawhi/Boris/Tony for a short spurt) were just spectacular. The rest of the guys were solid.

We got the win, that is all that matters.

Boban with 4 blocks and a steal. His 10 points and 7 boards were nice, too. But those blocks show what a presence he is in the paint.
Absolutely spectacular. I think Jokic got around him one time, and after that Boban figured him out.

Probably, but I like Jokic. He really went off on us in our first encounter. He moves well for a guy his size and has great range.
I like Jokic too actually. He's looked better than Lauvergne when I have watched Denver against us, Boban just did that much of a work out on him though. I actually wonder if Diaw/West combo would have done this kind of defensive job on Jokic (and Diaw and West both were great tonight, Boban was just simply .... on both ends)

What I really love is that he runs the floor, squares up on a defender, and gets his position early. And when he sets a screen, he makes sure he gets full body contact instead of letting guys just scrape around him. He works hard, and doesn't take part of any possession off. A lot of guys, when they don't feel like they're involved in the play, just become spectators. Boban is always working. Sometimes he's still not sure where he's supposed to be, and he'll be out trying to screen someone just for the of it. But he works his ass off.

    I agree with you.
I also think Lamarcus for example doesn't set good enough screens.
I am really pleased with Boban, can clearly see why he was a premier center in Euroleague play.
I think Pop has got to love him too.
Our future rest in good hands. May he be healthy for us.

The GIANT FUNDAMENTAL! I wish he could teach LMA to do some of his work early, tbh.

LOL... oh, please. Most of the time, the word "arrogant" means anyone who doesn't acknowledge that you are superior.

It was a ridiculous comment about typical lazy French, but there's no future in arguing about it. Besides, everyone knows the French aren't lazy - they just surrender too easy.

    It's a joke... lighten up!

Nuggets have had a bunch of random Euro bigs/wing players in the past 5 yrs: Mozgov, Kofus, Nurkic, Lauvergne, Jokic, Papanikolaou, Gallo, Fournier, Vesely, Kleiza. Rudy Fernandez

i know they are adjusting to Kyrie being back, but this is embarrassing..down 29 to Lillard-less Portland .. they are likely going to be without HC against the GS+ Spurs in potential finals..

Yea, some of them are still playing and doing well elsewhere. Wonder why they don't keep and develop the ones they have.
I think Nurkic is injured right?

I am not sure Denver even has a plan to get better. I didn't see their draft pick tonight, was he injured?

Yup, he's always been inefficient in the post-season. Doesn't elevate his game like TD and Manu(legit playoff performers in their prime)
His scoring and assists have gone up in the postseason almost every year of his career.

Lamarcus defense has been going down and down and down the last 5 games. I wonder if that has anything to do with his offensive production. Dude seems like a guy who plays less defense when hes not involed in offense. Kinda like Houston Dwight.

He shut down Towns & did a very good job protecting the rim along w/ Tim to the point where the Wolves couldn't score in the paint. He also got the chase down block on Barton after Simmons turned the ball over & Faried didn't do much besides a couple of dunks either(zero offensive rebounds).
