I have a friend who is a big UofH fan that swears that he has a dependable "inside source" that says that Tom Herman will absolutely not take any other Job except for The head coaching gig at Texas. Not sure if this is more of wishful thinking on the part of UofH fans or fact. Guess we'll see if that holds true when the season has concluded. I'm pretty confident that the head job at Texas won't be open this year.

Houston isn't in the Big 12... Yet. Speaking of Houston, are y'all ok with Houston joining the Big 12? Certainly seems like they deserve entry from a compe ion point of view. Not sure how good of a fit they are when considering revenue, recruiting, etc.

Me too. Won't come to Texas so I hope that he goes somewhere outside the Big 12.

I think it is just a Big 12 ranking. UT would be lucky to get a top 20 ranking in any of the major polls. People react to much to a win or loss in week one. The UT-ND game was great, but I am still pulling for Strong to win 8 games this year. It will not be easy, but Sunday night made that a lot more possible.
