It's hard to watch them go from the fight they showed two weeks ago to what happened last night.
I knew the first road game would be tough, but the mental breakdowns over and over from all phases is what's frustrating.

One might be tempted to think since our D gets to practice against an uptempo offense we might have a clue.
But we don't. Bedford has to be questioned about just what the is going on.
And it still bothers me Strong does very little to no coaching DURING a game. At least that I can tell. Only to reprimand or congratulate. Instruction... anyone seen this during a game? I like the recruiting, the gimmicky "belts", the kids like him...
I need something to think he is more than a recruiter, likeable guy. I watch Urban Meyer into every aspect of a game and just sulk...
Why the hatred towards Bedford? Defense is Strong's side of the ball and should be made accountable.
Ulimately they both are. The coaching change on offense seems to have worked. So....
The discussions have already started that Charlie will be the sole play-caller on defense against OK State in two weeks.
We'll see what the week brings.
The coaches were supposed to hit the recruiting trail hard this week because of the bye, but that may not happen now.

this loss is solely on the coaching staff, Texas was the better team on Saturday. This game brings me back to the complaint I had last year, that Charlie Strong doesn't know how to manage a game. I have no idea why we even attempted a pass in the second half, we had no reason to, they couldn't stop our running game if they went into a goal line defense. They did everything they had to do to win this game, our coaches didn't.
It was a very frustrating game, reminded me of watching us get beat by BYU, you know they don't have the talent we have but we can't stop them. Charlie needs to realize he is still on the hook and he needs to win or get out. I love his ability to run a program and his ability recruit, but in the end, winning is what matters.
I wouldn't call these guys spares, but with the DT haul we got last year, outside of Marvin Wilson, I probably wouldn't take a DT in this class. We have enough guys, including guys we are going to redshirt so that we are pretty well set at the DT spot.

Rumors abound per multiple boards. 100% change is coming. Bedford could be demoted (bunch of sources level 1 or 2 maybe 3). Which number is a higher up??? I'm also reading, look for the youth movement 2016 on defense moving forward.
100% change implies Strong too.

I don't think Watts was ever recruited much at all.
Daniels was at the UTL camp in July and supposedly talked with Strong for a while, but no idea how much they really like him.
I like DT Alec Jackson from Alabama a lot more than both.
