Top 2018 S Jordan Moore of Yoakum talks about his visit to UT last weekend (24/7):
“We stopped by the practice, and it was good,” Moore said. “I liked what I saw. But that’s basically all we did since we were there for Texas Relays. We didn’t get to talk to the coaches or anything like that.”
“Texas has been showing interest for about a week now,” Moore said. “I’ve been exchanging messages with Coach (Anthony) Johnson. He’s just been telling me that they’re looking at me and to keep grinding.”
“My mom went to Texas, so I like Texas a lot,” Moore said. “It’s always been a school that I’ve been interested in. But my dream school is actually TCU. My role model, Tre’Vontae (Hights) goes there, and I want to play with him one more year.”

Quotes from LB Levi Jones of Austin Westlake after attending practice last Saturday (24/7):
“I had a really great time on the visit,” Jones said. “I had some great conversations with the coaching staff. They said that they still really like me and that they want me up there. I had fun watching the scrimmage. It was just overall a good visit.”
“Texas is definitely high on my list,” Jones said. “Of course, Sam (Ehlinger) is always in my ear about it. But I really do like the program, the tradition and what they trying to build. But I’m taking it slow and weighing all of my options right now.”
“I like what the linebackers were doing,” Jones said. “Texas runs a similar scheme to ours at Westlake, so I’m pretty familiar with it. I think I could fit in well. They kind of see me doing some of the same things as my former teammate, Breckyn Hager.”
Didn't think they had a visit scheduled with the staff, at least that was what I was told. Good kids and great athletes.
