I stand corrected.
And I thank you.
All of their workpapers, recordings, written communications, etc in this case are privileged communications, you can't depose the attorneys even if not suing Baylor.
I stand corrected.
And I thank you.
Rumor out there that WR Devin Duvernay will make a decision between TCU and Texas by mid-week.
Where is that coming from? Any ideas which way he is leaning? Not gonna wait for his brother to get released first?
Gotta love how Herman is building UH better than Briles ever did.
Inside Texas has been hinting at it.
He won't have to wait for his brother since both TCU and UT will have a spot for him later.
Plus, there's no telling how long all of this Baylor stuff will take and Devin needs to start school.
Not really a surprise.
LB Tyler Taylor (Buford, GA)
A few quotes from new offer, 2018 DT Bobby Brown of Arlington Lamar (24/7):
“It means a lot to me,” Brown said. “One of my former teammates goes there, so if I were to go there, I know I wouldn’t be alone. Out of all the kids they could have offered, they offered me, so it means a lot.”
“Shane (Buechele) has told me some good things about it,” Brown said. “He said that there is a great culture there. He said that people look out for you a lot. So I’m just going to do some more research on it.”
“It’s a nice school,” Brown said. “I don’t know a whole lot about it, though. But it’s one of the schools on my list. I don’t really know what I like about the program, but I want to learn about it.”
Sorry for the bother to you and other posters but I am curious:
If the law firm was hired to do an internal investigation (not criminal investigation for future suit; like an audit) but were not the lawyers to represent Baylor in the various suits to come forth the lawyers can't be deposed as they were still acting in/on Baylor's behalf?
Ok this makes as it's almost like dropping an attorney for another? You can't go back to the first attorney. It would almost be like Baylor spilling the beans on itself as Baylor asked for the investigation. So if a company wants to carry out illegal stuff it's best to have an in house attorney who could essentially work on hiding stuff and then represent you. Obviously I am Not a lawyer, so this stuff creeps me out a bit. The mob guys used this extensively I guess. A lawyer to mop up who can even help one plan crimes.
Sorry for the type think... If I am off on some point help. Sorry to others, I don't like to personal mail bother.
Devin Duvernay to make decision on Wednesday Per TCU Mod:
"I don't have a crystal ball to give...that's for sure. I asked specifically about how the visit went and was told "it's hard to tell". That tells me that they don't think it's a slam dunk that he ends up at TCU...but that's not saying he doesn't end up at TCU either.
Was told he told TCU that he'd be making a decision on Wednesday."
2018 LB Alston Orji of Rockwall discusses UT (24/7):
“It’s a blessing to get these offers,” Orji said. “I’ve loved most of the schools that have offered me since I was 12 years old. To get these offers four years later is just crazy. I always thought I would get offers but never sop re year going into junior year.”
"An offer from Texas is an amazing honor," Orji said. "Very few Class of 2018 recruits have an offer from Texas and to be one of them motivates me to prove I'm deserving."
“They are at the top of my list along with some other schools. They are definitely up there. I’m really interested in Texas. They are a big powerhouse school.”
“We talk sometimes,” Orji said. “He’s (Chris Warren) a big guy. He’s huge, so I’m trying to get bigger. He always teases me that I’ll never be as big as him.”
DE Robert Beal cancelled his trip to UT today, per Scout.
ATH Paulson Adebo has committed to Notre Dame.

this is becoming a trend/pattern...............its worrisome how many recent recruits have said this about texas.............
I believe Saturday is when we'll have updates on all of the Baylor signees wanting releases.
Although recent rumors suggest Hudson has decided to stay and enroll for Summer II.
Apparently, the bad news that Higdon referred to was Beal not coming and us likely out of it. WTF.
Guess Hudson is still a possibility.
Ya, texas been pretty awful at recruiting these past years..![]()
If Higs himself said that, his timeline doesn't add up.
He said the bad news goes down in two weeks, and then said Beal was very high on UT after he posted the bad news thread.
So difficult to keep up with that guy.
