We released some of the findings because half of our athletic department as well as our Starr, AD, continue ad nauseum would be on the witness stand. Damn these girls for refusing the silence pay. We look forward to upping the hush fund, thanks for your concern, but it's our business.

Bobby Burton Thursday Notes:
I am told that of the recruits who enrolled at Texas during the first summer session, Denzel Okafor is the single player who has caught everyone's attention. That goes for upperclassmen and true freshmen alike.
But just how impressed?
Barring injury, I'll be highly surprised if Okafor isn't starting the first game of the year, either supplanting Brandon Hodges at guard or even pushing Kent Perkins down to guard and Okafor replacing him at tackle.
In this Texas offense, with so many quick throws and power plays run inside, there are perhaps fewer requirements and expectations for a young player at tackle than at guard.
Furthermore, playing both Okafor and Shackelford next to one another as true freshmen inside may not be what the coaches feel like is the best mix.

We can debate whether or not Devin Duvernay will become an immediate starter at inside receiver. But I think it's but guaranteed he will be the kick returner from day one.
Texas has used Rod Bernard in that role, and it looked like Bernard and/or Kris Boyd would get the calls for this season. But I think a combo of Duvernay and Boyd is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Yesssss.
UT gets at least four if they want Martin and Urquidez.
Cobb is the only one I think could go either way (OU or UT).
From Baylor board:
"UT should've bought us dinner first"

24/7 had a few comments on where the released Baylor players may go.
RB Kameron Martin - Houston or UT.
OL Patrick Hudson - Texas should be the pick, but the family will sit down and talk first.
OL JP Urquidez - all they know is he has a specific school in mind.
CB Parrish Cobb - OU or UT, and they believe UT has the slight lead right now.
Second summer session at UT doesn't start until July 11th, so we may have to wait a little bit for these decisions.
Maybe he could just stay there.
Has anyone heard what position Lil Jordan Humphrey will be playing when he gets to Texas?
Kid looks huge, and I'm wondering if he will be given a shot at TE?
Inside Texas claims if UT lands RB Kameron Martin, it will help a lot in the recruitment of CB Kary Vincent.
SCOUT reporting that Kameron Martin will take visit to UT next Friday.
I've read WR as of now. But yes, as he gains weight I could see him moving over to TE or a Flex kind of player.
From an article yesterday evening in the Port Arthur News:
Martin committed to Baylor in July 2014. He will now take some visits to several campuses and will also take a trip to a tattoo shop to get his ‘BU’ ink on his left bicep covered up.
“I will be at a tattoo shop in the near future,” Martin said. “I might get that done Friday. That is the easy part.”
