What he say?
Apparently it was a false alarm. Higdon and EJ both chiming in to discredit this news. Also Higdon is suggesting that he no longer feels good about Hudson committing to Texas.
What he say?
"and I don't feel good either by the way, not now...."
Football brainiacs seems to think its Texas, not sure where the this recruitment is going. Changes every ten minutes.
Was this update after Higdon's comment?
Probably a little before, it actually came from Oklahomas side of things saying they didn't feel it was enough.
Higdon on Hudson
not feeling it anymore....but that story will be for another time..when things are all over...it absolutely is a change and when the time is right you will understand fully I promise
A lot of people are still confident that Hudson is signing with Texas. I guess it's possible that the info was leaked and Higdon is doing his best to deny the reports in order to truly give Hudson his moment Thursday.
aka texas hasnt offered his sister a track scholarship
aggy now ranked #7 class
Atm has 15 commits already..pretty good class but there avg is nothing spectacular
THE FOOTBALL BRANIACS: – UPDATE (11:01 pm): I have been told that Texas no longer has a spot for Parrish Cobb. I would surmise this means Texas feels good about landing a commitment/signature from Patrick Hudson
We got a kicker!!!
Dudes earning a spot as a walk-on.
Looks like the reason why Higdon thinks that we are on the outside looking in is because A&M and Oklahoma both offered a track and field scholarship to his sister. Texas did not.
This guy seems fairly confident about Hudson signing with Texas as he tweeted out again last night after being criticized:
Gabriel Pruett @PaNewsGabe hookem_texas I was told again tonight same story I was told earlier today. No reason for person who said it to lie. We shall see.
This was posted on OU's football brainiacs board:
"Hudson made the trip up to Norman over the weekend with his uncle. And for whatever it’s worth, I (K) did speak with one source close to Hudson who said they did not feel like OU would win out in the end. – (Brandon & Super K)"
So reading the tea leaves, he can go Aggsy with his sister, or he can come to Texas without her. I'm thinking aggsy win this one.
Seriously, I just got pissed reading this. Outside of the WNBA women's sports doesn't have a place after college unless they are good enough to make the Olympics. These are young women who are there to compete but to also get an education. Just offer her a ride, yes, she would be taking the spot of a more deserving athlete, but maybe she is the more deserving student.
Then again, we offered D'onta Foreman in an effort to get his brother Armanti, now look at what we got, a badass RB who will go pretty high in the NFL draft and will likely lead our offense next year. Maybe if we get Patrick we see his sister going to the Olympics or Bringing home Big 12 les. Either way, she is worth the shot.
Maybe she won't qualify academically and that's why she hasn't been offered. Or perhaps she's not good enough for the track team, which is one of the better athletic programs on campus. There could also be a dearth of track scholarships to be offered.

Question asked in Higdon's Tuesday morning update on Hudson, from InsideAccess
Ok, I will ask. How do u feel about Hudson right now?!?
I have had three big time reasons why I felt he was going to Texas and only one why he wouldn’t. You will know all of the reasons in the next 48-hours. I will explain each and every one of them in detail. Then you can decide if those reasons would have made you feel the same way. From a call I had this morning, he is going to Texas -- The deal with the sister (yesterday) brings clouds into play. So if Hudson goes to Texas, does anyone think OU or the Aggies allow his sister to attend on a track scholarship?
