Question asked in Higdon's Tuesday morning update on Hudson, from InsideAccess

Ok, I will ask. How do u feel about Hudson right now?!?

I have had three big time reasons why I felt he was going to Texas and only one why he wouldn’t. You will know all of the reasons in the next 48-hours. I will explain each and every one of them in detail. Then you can decide if those reasons would have made you feel the same way. From a call I had this morning, he is going to Texas -- The deal with the sister (yesterday) brings clouds into play. So if Hudson goes to Texas, does anyone think OU or the Aggies allow his sister to attend on a track scholarship?

The Brainiacs seem to feel pretty good about Hudson still committing to Texas. They have been more dialed in than Higdon with Hudson from the get go. Higs is just being higs right now.

Yes, actually majority if not all of the Texas sites seem pretty confident in Texas landing him. We shall see.

Taking a look at another article referenced in the above and Holy Toledo, no surprises here. The Wacko system of justice had it all figured out. Even, even tested AFTER his arrest and he's clean. Eyup. Thank Jesus for 5 Th chances:

Thanks to the BU athletic department’s drug-testing policy, the player’s attorney was able to convince the prosecutor that his client was innocent. From the Tribune:
Waco attorney Jonathan Sibley said Baylor has been drug-testing Rhodes for about seven months and he never tested positive for drug use.
Sibley said he showed those test results to the DA’s office, including a test administered two days before Rhodes was arrested, and convinced them he was not guilty. Rhodes also tested negative after his arrest, Sibley said.
“Robbie didn’t have anything to do with it,” Sibley said. “Baylor runs a clean program, and it helps that they have been testing Robbie because that helped us present evidence to the district attorney to convince them that he had no connection to this drug activity that they accused him of and arrested him for.”

A clean program, Baylor runs a clean program and somehow, somehow... the Waco DA bought it. Did he really buy it... Seems more likely the DA was paid for buying it. I will now use two emoji which is against my principles. Just In case I screwed up the first time.

True. I prefer Charlie be the one to finish what he started, but he does need to show major improvement on the field. I think 8 Ws and a bowl win should do it.

With the last two recruiting classes I would be disappointed if he was not here next season unless they completely crap the bed.

I wouldn't mind if Charlie got a extension right now, before the season even starts, just based off of his recruiting efforts and the clean disciplined program he runs. He cares about the kids beyond just football and I think recruits see that and that plays a part in his success with getting recruits and their parents to sign on the dotted line. Yes, at the end of the day he needs to win but the wins will come. His track record speaks for itself and its no secret that Texas hasn't had a QB good enough to produce consistent wins. Once we get a good established QB it's gonna be unleashed on the rest of the Big 12.

While I agree, I dont see it hapenning w/o results on the field. It would be a big boost to potential signees if at some point in the upcoming season he got that extension. (This assumes that he is winning).

I guess we can officially close the 2016 recruiting season. With the signing of the Baylor 4, look for UT to take a small class of 15-17 this year (that's with some attrition).

Tom Herman is probably drooling... but I hope Charlie can just put together a feel good winning season. If he puts together the class that is possible next year then we may finally get back into the le hunt.

He clearly made a mistake with the offensive coaching (Watson didn't fit) the last two years but I think he's too smart and too hard of a worker to not get this figured out this year.
