Donovan became a spectator. You don't know about the game if you think Donovan pulled out all the stops. He was supposed to be the director, not the cheerleader. That's what Brooks did, that's the results Brooks would have gotten. Donovan is no better than Scott Brooks so I was wrong earlier in this thread when I said he was. Right now he's not. His post game presser was painful to watch, Deflecting and redirecting attention from his lapses and lack of coaching to "they are champions, they shoot well, best team in history blah blah blah". Just say you lost because you got out played, and that you'll probably watch film in a week or two when your asshole heals.
