Yup, he played too much.
This was on par with the Worriers losing vs Lakers. No Conley, No Gasol, No Z-Bo, No Barnes, No Wright...
Yup, he played too much.
Did he even play in the 4th quarter?
Lamarcus hit 8-13 going into the 4th.
Yea tonight is on the spurs.
Simmons didn't play. I didn't see Kyle the first half, the second they called up a play for him but he didn't want to force up a contested jumpshot. I can't recall who was defending him, but he was a long player, it was not a mismatch kind of situation and he passed out of it. I guess he didn't have confidence he was going to get a good look.
During the stretch Tony forced shots that he missed, and got injured. Dwest and Diaw failed to box out or rebound. It was bad. They didn't move the ball very well either.
3 ball not falling for Kawhi last two games. Hope it doesn't mean his legs are tired or that calf issue is flaring up.
Way to piss away a gift from the Lakers...
early 4th.
An unfortunately good point.
I hope not.
Tony got injured and despite him having a bad game, we are in trouble without him with our schedule coming up.
Spurs weren't going to catch the Warriors.Have you seen our upcoming schedule? I made peace with the second seed.
Well look at it this way....Spurs struggled and got screwed by the refs but still had a chance at the end....It was still a close game and Spurs struggled in all quarters....
What about it? Home games brah.....
Yeah they're all home games huh.
Was Simmons on the bench? Why would Messina stick with a bunch of guys who couldn't throw BBs in the ocean and not give some other guys a chance to do better?!?! Let Becky take over next game, tbh.
First loss at Indiana in almost a decade.
uh huh
Agreed, INDY was very active and Kawhi was really the only one though consistently facing tough shots. Spurs missed a lot within 5 feet and while INDY was doing a good job at swarming the 3PT line, it did lead to some very nice wide open 3PT attempts after the first pass.
INDY did a damn good job, just saying Spurs really did generate enough good looks to win.
I think Pop will start resting players more, using bench more, and try to acclimate the new guy(s). With our schedule we could lose a lot of games going into playoffs so the eruption on this site will be massive.
We can sugarcoat it all you want, we might have pissed away a golden opportunity to have a shot at the one seed. Compared to most of the rest of the schedule, this was a game we should have penciled in. I just hope this doesn't end up being as bad as that pelicans loss last season.
I wonder if Manu sits tomorrow night.
The 2 seed is locked unless catastrophe strikes.
Dubs have one of the easiest remaining schedules while the Spurs have one of the toughest. Getting the 1 seed would have been a miracle that would have pretty much required the Spurs to go all out the remainder of the season....
