We've heard all the Spurs say it- they just want to improve and aren't chasing the # 1 seed. They are having a killer year. If GSW is having an even more killer year then good for them. We need to be playing them well in late May.
Isn't a good idea to also push the Warriors so they don't get a chance to relax? Even if we're not going for the number 1 seed (I would at least still try to if we do well in this upcoming home stretch), I think it's also important to keep pushing the Warriors so they don't get it easy the rest of the way. Keep the pressure on them, who knows, they might crack, but at least they won't have it easy and allow them to rest all their players if the number 1 seed is locked up too early.

With the loss against the Pacers, the ship has sailed for catching GSW in the standing. I would be more than glad enough to finish the regular season at least 2-2 against them AND securing the 2nd seed overall as early as possible without compromising health & rest for the team.
