It honestly feels like from about 3 minutes of the end of the 3rd to about 4 minutes into the 4th we hold our breath and play our B team as long as we can.

I'm talking about a couple of the shots at the end when Curry missed an open 3. We did well the rest of crunch time imo.

Already seeing all of the Warrior excuses. Curry went 1-for-11 from three. The Warriors lost, period, and this was with Duncan sitting again. The hype is over and reality has set in for the Warriors. They lost the most important regular season game to now.
This loss will probably shake their confidence a little. They may finish maybe even 70-12 but won't get 73-9.

Could be the Dubs choke a little when they are behind and get a lot of defensive pressure from a great defensive team. On the other hand, we got behind for a little in the 4th and came back strong. We don't choke!
That the Warriors are human and should be highly respected but NOT feared. And that we DEFINITELY have a historic defense and that will bode well for us going forward.
Yeah, this was a really nice win. It wasn't anyone on the team having a fluky performance, it was controlling tempo and taking Golden State completely out of what they wanted to do. Credit Golden State for still being right there to take this game, they're such a versatile team. But this is exactly what I want to see out of the Spurs against them. Get the ball into the post, keep the game slow, and make everyone but Curry have to beat you.
Man, you guys - you take a look at the final score and it looks like a March Madness NCAA score - 87-79...Throwback to nineties ball!!
I would say the spurs were able to do a good job at defending the 3 point shot along with being able to successfully counter the Warriors death squad. Factor in the refs were ty and the spurs were still able to overcome it.

Even JVG noted all the TURRIBLE calls against the Spurs. Kawhi gets hammered consistently with no calls but gets called for two totally phantom calls, including a great defensive play against the three point specialist, Curry. Home cooking!
We still got work to do against this team, I felt like we would lose control any time in the 2nd half. Bad shooting by Curry, no Iggy or Bogut. But we made nice progress.
No one on our bench was a + on +/- and we still won.
