I'm surprised more of you cliff jumpers aren't calling this a moral loss since the Spurs should have won by 200, all tho GS considered.
Jabroni Young with the "Spurs escaped". Dude sounded mad that the Spurs won.![]()
Great win, guys! Nice to see the Warriors are not invincible.
GO SPURS GO!!!!!
As if the Dubs haven't a zillion "escape" wins this year.
Fools gold win.
GSW attempted 36 attempts on 3 vs Spurs 20 attempts.
Spurs had 16 turnovers.
The difference is the 25% GSW percentage from 3. That's an anomaly and isn't going to happen. If GSW shot at same percentage as Spurs... 38%, the would have won by 6 points.
I also wonder why Spurs did not keep Butler. He would have been useful in this switching defense. I cannot see how Bonner is of any use against the Dubs.
GS has pulled out miracle wins all year long and no one bats an eye. We win a game against them when we were clearly the better team on that night and everyone loses their minds... get the out, tbh.

Since we're playing the anomaly game, if the Spurs had shot their normal percentage and had their normal number of turnovers they'd have won by over 20 points. Those two stats by the Spurs have far less to do with opponent defense than the Dubs' three point percentage, as nobody has defended the Warriors at the arc like that in the last two seasons.
I wouldn't read too much into this win. They were missing their Finals MVP and still played us close.
