Just to put it in to perspective for you kids,,,,Trout in his first 2 years had 35 hr/99 rbi. Harper had 42 hr/117. Bryant(barring injury) will have 50+hr/200+ rbi in his first 2 seasons.
If he had played the entire 2015 season,,,he would have finished with 30+ hr/110+ rbi's as a rook. Come back in 20 years when his career is over and bring this thread back up,,,,dude is gonna transcend the game the way MJ did in the NBA. Cubs are the favorites to win the series this year and if this kid wins the le while winning the Series MVP and has a season like 40+ hr/100+ rbi,,,,his stock is gonna go through the roof. Trout and Harper,,,,move the over,,,,

Buy up Kris Bryant rookie cards for 500 while you can,,,,,look at Jordan rookie cards going for 10,000+,,,,
Using Home runs and RBI to judge talent. In 2016.
Name me a better player after his rook year, BJ,,,,
Michael Nelson Trout
You should look up Trouts rookie season and get back to me,,,,
I looked at it. A 10.7 WAR. The greatest rookie season in the history of mankind and all of sports.
You gotta be kidding,,,,war is your judgement tool now since I showed you Bryant will do better than Trout in HR/RBI's,,,,,lmao
WAR is my judgment tool to see who is the best overall player. Trout happens to be that person, Mr. Get off my lawn guy
Of course WAR is your tool,,,,its all you got, Mr. I Don't know ,,,,
wRC+, OPS, everything that actually matters favors Trout, old man.
Sure thing, kid,,,,
Mike Trout the GOAT
LMAO,,,,

funny, 28 isn't 30+ and 106 isn't 110+
Don't give a where he ends up on the ATRs. Just want him to help us get a ring.
As long as the Royals are around, Cubs ain't winning .
Lemme guess, u prolly think coming back form a 4 run deficit, in the 8th inning of a road elimination game isn't lucky at all, right? Let's stop pretending that luck/random events don't play any factor in baseball. Your Royals don't dictate about what the Cubs can or can't do, tbh.
It's not luck when the Royals came back from deficits plenty of times in the playoffs. Its not luck going to the World Series in back to back seasons and almost winning both.
There's a difference between being down 2 runs in the 5th and and being down 4 runs in the 8th inning of an elimination game being played on the road. U can tell your self whatever you want, but the fact remains Royals were in fact lucky to win that game and stay alive. But I do give you full props to beating the out of an even flukier Mets team.
5-5 with 3 Dingers and 2 Doubles tonight. Don't think it's ever been done before.
Correction, first time since 1912.
Nigglet is making his MVP case even stronger. He's almost caught up to Trout in WAR and his defensive versatility and raw stats speak for themselves.
