That's both funny and kind of sad at the same time..
Imagine having to go through a whole season of this. Then you will know what it's like to be a 76er fan![]()
That's both funny and kind of sad at the same time..
GYT melting down because we are losing to a team without our top five players![]()
So funny. So sad. So true.
Not just one.
Two years ago, the Spurs B team could have hung with any team in the league. Now, they just get blasted.
Same technique Harden does when he gets blown by![]()
I hear you. Hopefully next season he's better. Definitely too inconsistent and risky this particular season and we are at the end of it and he was having terrible games in the dleague prior to this one too, so you don't know which Simms you get at this point.
Also this game is a glorified scrimmage against good compe ion, games that we were intending to win for real and not throwing up, he scrubbed them up big time.
Still I am rooting for him. He was much more in control in this one. I think his excitement made him be all over, both on defense and offensively throwing the ball away in prior games.
One takeaway from this game is that Simmons can play against OKC's backups, Kyle also should be fine against Singler as opposed to KD.![]()

Certainly in Pop's mind!
lol not a surprise, that guy melts down even when we win.![]()
That's why you want OKC in the 2nd rd rather than the Cripples, Austin Rivers alone would have torched the scrubs.![]()
Well at least point differential wasn't destroyed
I don't think that's fair. They could hang for stretches, but not a whole game. And it was never the Spurs second unit against the entire starting unit of another team. Tonight was what?.. 48-44 at the half. I'd call that hanging with OKC. They just can't do it for 48 minutes.
Those dudes are ing re low IQ posters.![]()
It was over and guys were not trying lol
I try to tell people that all the time..![]()
Oh you..
Good point. At some point you can't stop the other teams' stars going on runs. Really the most impactful thing was we didn't have much of a paint presence. When you have Bonner and Anderson trying to make contested shots in the paint you are in trouble. That is why I wanted Boban to have a better game than he did. Then securing rebounds was an issue. For example we might have gotten a stop of a shot on the perimeter, but didn't secure the defensive board, etc. Just things like that happen when you don't have your stars.
then offensively, sometimes none of your roleplayers can get it going, that is when your stars get you a shot, but we didn't have any.
It was expected.
I agree. Plus this season 4/5 of our second unit is new and/or young guys.
Isn't that the excuse for everyone here?
What were people expecting from this game?? A win??? Lmao
You'd think that a player like KA would be very motivated to play since he's the one trying to earn and keep his backup minutes to Kawhi. So, if that true, that's very disappointing for a player who hasn't yet established himself in the league.
Oh being a Sixers fan is way worse. I've attended a few games this season cause the tickets are dirt cheap and it's BAD. Like worst game Spurs ever played times 5 bad.
