"Royals are better offensively than the Indians"

    This was a real take.
Royals were much better offensively than Cleveland last season. The offense hasn't been the same this year. Gordon has struggled all season, Moustakas has been out most of the season, Cain has missed a big part of the season and has played injured. Morales has been up and down, Escobar has struggled, and they haven't found anyone close to replace Zobrist at 2nd best. Also, you didn't predict the Indians would have a better offense this season.

Good for them. Maybe they can finally win a playoff game assuming they don't choke the division away to your Tigers.

If A-Rod gets cut from NY would another team pick him up?
    Manfred would never allow it.

& he went out crawlin' when there was nary need for it. They stabbed him in the back once. What the did he think they were going to do? This was payback because he wouldn't take the first back stab and quit.

They were going to release him immediately & unconditionally. He requested that they permit him to stay & play on Friday and then act as an adviser.

They stabbed him in the back over the PED use. (They)/ownership(s) knew what was going on all those years, but, they, along with the players & Media kept silent so they could ALL reap the rewards of their nefarious acts. Then when they black balled Canseco he turned them all in. After that (they) picked & chose sacrificial lambs for the slaughter, i.e., A-Rod, he was juicy, owed all that money, they could kick him around and perhaps make $100 million in the deal. Uh, uh. He lawyered up and they yelled "uncle." Now, they get the last laugh, by making him crawl to them and out the door.

    Without him they're short 1.

Those Yankees championship teams were all juicing. How Torre can keep a straight face on the podium escapes me.

Juicing was across the spectrum. Once the whistle was blown by Canseco everybody ran for cover and sides were chosen up. Media didn't know where to turn, or, what to do...and still doesn't to this very day. The MLB Record Book, the most cherished of all sports record books is now a piece of , without an ounce of worth. That they tried to single out A-Rod because they thought him an easy clean, + the amount of money still owed is abhorrent. And they didn't get away with it.

The retirement of Ortiz in Boston will now start the HOF clock in October. This will have to be handled with kid gloves, very delicately. They/Media wants him in there, but, they can't just herald it out loud. It's going to be a fine show.

You should be worried more about your Tigers who just got their asses kicked for a second straight night at home to the Royals and looking at the pitching matchup today, a sweep is a good possibility.

Wouldn't surprise me if Seattle takes that 2nd wild card spot away from the Orioles. They have an easy schedule down the stretch.

So who get the NL MVP? It's gotta be between Bryzzo, MurphGod & Arenado.

It's only fair for Murphy to get it since he got screwed out of the World Series MVP. He was definitely the Royals most important player during the series.

Funny how the Astros went into Baltimore and smacked the Orioles around, but now the O's have dominated the Nats so far in two games.

Other than Kluber and Carrasco (to a certain extent) the Tribe's started pitching has been pretty bad since the All-Star Break. Ever since the 14-game winning streak it seems like the entire team's been running in place.

I'm not super confident right now, tbh.
