This. I've yet to see The Force Awakens and I'm still traumatized from episodes 1&2 (never saw 3). I thought that was Peter Cushing for sure as Tarkin--gave me chills. Vader is simply the best villain ever created. I also like how they spliced in old clips of Red and Gold Leaders.

Thank goodness they took series away from George Lucas. Episode 1 and 2 were horrible. He really lost his touch.

Yeah but that's like saying getting kicked in the gooch is better than getting kicked square in the testicles. All 3 of the prequels were absolutely godawful. Even the lightsaber fights look cheesy as now.

Wanted to see this opening week because I thought the trailer looked good, plus I liked the director's work on Godzilla, but Ive been busy and sick.
Finally saw it and it blew Episode 7 out of the water. Granted I think Ep. 7 is the tiest in the series, but this looked and felt far more like SW. It's not perfect but I liked it a lot. Hopefully Gareth Edwards does another of the spinoff films.
