LAA has literally nobody to build around him. Honestly, I think their best move is to trade him for a package of prospects

The Angels under Skosha are done and will be until he is replaced.
Trout you jumped to a too soon conclusion.

If the Angels weren't so damn mediocre, Trout would be enough for a minimum of a Wild Card.

They're looking pretty good post ASB. Trout killed us tonight. 99mph bullet to gun a runner down at the plate and of course went yard. I've never seen a more complete baseball player. Speed, arm (which used to be a weakness, now he's throwing 99 mph darts from 250 feet), eye, plate discipline, ability to hit to all fields.

Trout with 11 HRs in last 13 games and Angels on a 3 game winning streak. But if the pattern holds, we lose three of the next four to push back towards .500.

    And that is what happened.
I see zero difference between Ausmus and Skosha.
No improvement whatsoever in strategy, overall managing.

I didn't want to pile on, because teams go into thin years when they're not the really big market teams; but the Angels starting rotation was an outright embarrassment.
