FINALLY two veteran guards to put besides Leonard. Why didnt we play this lineup all year?!?!

    CIA Pop cloning players.
I'm surprised he even played it this early in the post-season. That's supposed to be the 'secret' lineup.

He's a different animal. I don't remember such a great player in history. He is redefining greatness and basketball in general. The kirbi at ude is losing preference, the silent killer that kawhi represents, is becoming increasingly popular and cool.

Kawhi is a ing monster. The Spurs shouldn't be needing this type of a performance to beat the lowly Grizzlies, though.

Athleticism isn't a big part of his game, he already has the 95-98 MJ postup/mid-range game on top of his outside shooting so he should be fine as long as he's healthy. Defensively, he will eventually play PF like Draymond, which shouldn't be physically tasking considering the league is moving towards "Stretch-4s" rather than bangers like Z-Bo.
Kawhi's height, length, and strength will be there for awhile. At just 24 years old, the Spurs have a great chance to be a factor in the post Big 3 era - lets face it, the post Big 3 era has already started in a lot of ways.

He really closed out that game.

    Manu-Ginobili-Leonard-Diaw-Aldridge looks really promising.
    Manu-Gino-Bili-Leonard-Aldridge tbh

I agree. That's likely the best lineup. Leonard, Green and Aldridge are so much better if they can get the pass at the right spots.

Parker is only useful if he's a scoring threat.
Pop using my favorite 2k16 lineup

    Where would you rank Kawhi's statline vs Tim's 21-20-10-8 or David's 34-10-10-10 or even Alvin's 20-11-10-10?

306th highest game score in the playoffs. #1 Charles Barkley against the Warriors 4 May 1994
20th highest game score in the playoffs by a Spurs player. #1 Tim Duncan against the Nets 4 June 2003.

Cherry picking stat criteria can make thousands of player games the best ever.

Amazing how Kawhi got a lot of his points easily off the ball.

Tim did it in the NBA Finals, Kawhi did it against the Grizz & Admiral/Alivn were in the regular season.

I love Kawhi and this is no slight on his accomplishment, but due to injuries Memphis is a joke of a playoff opponent.

Jordan was a pretty good defender too. I think he lead the league in steals one time?

Kawhi has his defensive skills and post/fadeway shooting skills. Doesn't have Jordans driving skills, but is a better 3-point shooter. I would compare Kawhi more to Jordan than Pippen, but neither is accurate, imho.

Kawhi is really only comparable to...Kawhi. He's pretty unique.
A cross perhaps between Jordan and Pippen? Or how about Dr. J and Pippen?
