Good for Joerger...Memphis has a bleak future, tbh...Conley could bolt in the summer and Gasol suffering a serious big man injury..the rest of roster are deadweight..

    Per Woj:

    Quote:
Joerger had been seeking permission to speak to the Kings and Houston Rockets, league sources said.

Rockets have solid options if they don't this up. Hornacek, Vogel, Joerger.

Would have been a good fit in LA. Too bad they jumped the gun on Walton.

It's Wallace and the rest of the FO clowns who should have been fired. But we live in Clown World, and the inmates are running the asylum.

Also, this shows the Lakers why you don't hire the first guy you interview and cancel the rest.

Dude was spending time in the tanning booth before the season was even done. Anyone see him in Game 2 vs Spurs? Dude was red with the goggle tan lines.

Sounds like Conley is out of there then too. The LOLkers should try like to dump Russell, the pick, and more crap for Cousins and then go sign Conley.

would be a horrible move. They need to find a way to acquire picks and not trade them away. Nobody has been signing up to play with Cousins so far.

Why do they want picks? They're horrible drafting.

All they need to do is hit on one great pick. Buss and Chaz have one more year and they are out. Get a new Basketball Operations guy, and hire actual scouts. Its always valuable to have picks. Golden State and the Spurs built through the draft. Which the Lakers will have to do. There are no more Shaq to LA deals to be had. Jeanie needs to bring back Jerry West.

This dude is better than the bonehead in Indiana that everyone is raving about. Joerger would be a great replacement for Pop when he retires,,,,

Besides drafting of Magic, and the FA signing of Shaq, the Laker's success has largely been credited to blockbuster trades. Mychal Thompson, MVPau, James Worthy, Wilt, Kareem, Kobe, etc

Im not sure DeMarcus is the big name they need, but I wouldn't be surprised if they trade away pieces for a star in the next couple years.
