That 2011-12 team didn't peak too early, they just ran into an opponent of nearly the same caliber where Pop/Parker choked. Thus year's team was peaking at near the right time but Pop ed it up by resting players and going into mad scientist mode when he had no rhyme of reason to.

OKC's size is ridiculous. I have said it a few times before the way they utilize Adams,Kanter,Ibaka to clean up the boards is similar to the way the Lakers used Odom/Bynum/Gasol to clean up the boards. They get so many second chance points from those guys.
