No excuses, we generated enough chences to score but either bad luck (Kimmich hitting the post) or a good keeper (Lloris against Can or Kimmich at the very end) held us from scoring.

They were absolutely dominating France at that point and that penalty changed everything. It threw out every advantage Germany had... They were visibly disoriented in the second half, add that the French were more spirited because they had the lead even though Germany had them by the necks in the first half.

I would not say germans had us by the necks in first half. We started very well and could have scored. Then they dominated during last 30 mn true. Second half France managed well his lead tbh.

All in all it is a well deserved win
