This has been a fun thread to read. The team can improve in free agency. They don't need to move Green for that. They are a Mills trade and a Simmons and Diaw waiving away from a max slot. And they don't necessarily need to move high in the draft to get their guy. An early-20s pick might be good enough. That won't require anything drastic.

He really can be in trade talks in all honesty and could possibly surprise us going for as really high lottery pick. Look at G. Hill. I also evaluate how overpaid Demarre Carroll got. Danny is indeed a super valuable guy that they won't part with lightly. it's got to be a to pick maybe even in the 3-8 range. There are teams in that range dangling picks and Danny is our best offer. It won't be known until draft night if any other teams dangle a better player.

3-8? I'd be extremely surprised if Danny can get us that but only reason to even consider shipping him out would be to clear room for Durant. Other than it would be completely dumb.
