They just had no idea how far reaching Brexit was. Today's conservatives... They used to actually have a clue about actions today have consequences for the future. Conservatives just seem to use these scattered, transitory, populists movements of the day as guidelines for platforms that are outrageously stupid economically and socially. And then think the blue team is responsible for their mess.

Brexit was an epochal self-inflicted wound for the UK.

The next Labour goverment can have an easy economic win by getting back into European common market.
