    wtf is globalization?

Sorry to inform you that we no longer just do sailing ships and are without radio and other communications.
You are living in a place that is inferior yet told you are shaping the world. Meanwhile we are all collectively laughing at you.

Literally me right now. USA is the junior leagues to a place like this. Europa forever and I am returning.
tbh, you could tell me that's Santa Monica, and I'll believe you.

    Poland laughing at the US...
    So this is globalization?

Transport of goods and materials is much easier now as is the flow of information.
sorry it ruined your 18 th century world.

Brexit: Exporting my fish to China is easier than to France

A Scottish fisherman says it's "cheaper and quicker" to export his s fish to Asia than it is to France under post-Brexit rules.

Because the UK is out of the single market,

British fish exports to Europe are now subject to new customs and veterinary checks.

    Jamie McMillan says this means

three hours of paperwork every morning to get his s fish to the EU.

He told BBC Panorama he had turned to Asian markets to keep his business afloat and save his employees' jobs.

    Yeah they actually have.
they are still figuring out how to deal with all the new trade rules so some still stand with the EU which the Tories were supposed to get rid of.
But they have been hurt economically by this for little to no reason.
They had some legit gripes about the EU, but they pushed it way too far claiming the EU was requiring them to take more Pakis and stupid like this. So now they got trouble with their own Northern Ireland and Ireland is just amazed.

They ship goods back and forth never dropping them off. Its ultimate stupidity. No PLAN. Just like healthcare under Trump.
"Whoever knew this would be so difficult?" uhhh the entire world, Donald... and Boris....

Shot in foot. Still feeling effects.

Fine, split hairs, like you always do when I have you over a barrel; they're playing ignorant, playing possum, dragging their feet..."They think they won, but I'll resist this every day that ends in (y) forever, just like the yanks did that fat Trump guy. That worked. Drove him right into the ter. And now they got their way."

I didn't read it but how much can this be attributable to the pandemic related supply chain issues.

England's major trading partner (and traditional source of AG labor and lorry drivers) is the EU. It's not a complicated supply chain. As I understand it, the main hurdles here are related to customs and the (lack of) free movement of labor.

Germany? , they got it easy, don't have to have a military industrial complex...they lucked out with their uncle Adolf 80 years ago and now Germany doesn't have to send German children to the slaughters. Instead we have to send our children to the slaughters, they come back thru Dover AFB like the 13 that just came back thru there.

Yeah thats not gonna quite explain that culture.
They have a history of being very capable and industrious with a military.
they also adhere a bit better to unified responses than we do.
Even though we call ourselves UNITED.

Historic cull of pigs in the UK. Worker attrition from COVID and short-sighted restrictions on immigration have made it necessary. Some farmers are even doing abortions on their herds.
