Is Hanlan playing with us now or staying on the Jazz team for summer ball?
Cady was disappointing. Many passes from Kyle to the bigs inside turned to nothing and some were tacked as TO (though they were nice passes) bc the big can't catch a ball, Kirk got the ball inside right under the basket but couldn't do anything about it. I missed Hanlan... can't recall him at all.
Hopefully Milutinov looks like something. Cady was pretty invisible. I am starting to wish we had Ndoye in the team.
Bertans better show something too besides shooting.

Is there a worse player on the planet then #53 on our summer league team?
I have no news on him.
What happened, tbh? I missed the game, did we win by 20 again?
lol Crazy bat TO in the second half along with guys looking spent and missing jumpshots they had previously made. lol I was obviously trolling you a bit in a friendly banter fashion bc you do love to troll me back, in all good natured fashion. It's not like all this isn't going to happen in the Regular Season. I am getting ready for Turd Towers 3.0 name calling... Hopefully not.

Hanlan was not in the boxscore. I don't know how SL rosters work. He probably got dropped from Utah's SL team, but i am guessing we don't have a slot for him on ours...?
I didn't think we went in with a full summer roster. But it wouldn't be to fair to him with no practice though.
Yes, basically every other big, including Cady Lalanne.![]()
It's all good, game too early for me, been making money like a madman lately, I'm catching up with all the news now.
Luke Walton was a postup SF w/ short limbs, he was the white trash version of Diaw.
Yes, apparently he was dropped prior to the game. I expect him to be suiting up with SAS soon.
Simmons was on New Jersey's summer league team and moved over to the Spurs. That seemed to work out well.
Forbes only issue is his size, but otherwise his shot is silky smooth
He'd be an undersized SG like patty that moves and shoots really well coming off screens, an undersized poor man's jj re![]()
I'm not sold on Simmons. If he continues to have statistically dominant SL showings, I'd explore moving him for a future pick. He's not enough of a shooter, to my mind. However, he can get to the bucket. Warriors will not have much, if any, rim protection and Parker can't exploit those holes anymore. But can Simmons be trusted not to give possessions to the other team?
6'3 is decent height, especially when you're challenged for points from the 1 and 2 spots.
He shoots the ball and it goes in and he's young and he'll be cheap. Sign that ninja.

"So some teams also offered money. The Spurs went a bit further, giving Forbes a one-year contract. If he makes their roster in training camp, he’ll earn the rookie minimum salary, around $543,000. If he doesn’t, he’ll still be under contract with the Spurs, paid enough to agree to stay with the organization for one year — even if it’s spent in the D-League — instead of going overseas and perhaps making six-figures there."
Wow.... finally he's shooting those 3's without hesitation. If he's doing that, we don't need Diaw who hasn't stopped hesitating.
Ah.
Well that's why RC gets paid. I just armchair GM after he's already done what I think we might want to do.
Thank you!
His jumper is so much quicker this time around. Fluid stroke. Can still see him thinking mid-maneuver, which can cause both good and bad things, but I really like what I'm seeing.
Hopefully he can be an anchor for the bench crue this year.
Bryn Forbes could be the next Gary Neal. I hope he's not gonna be a liability on defence too
That stroke looks faster and more sure, for sure. Pop's going to give him the green light this year. He wanted to last year.
Man, I hope this newfound ability to let it fly sticks and works out for him. He's got a pretty shot, now that he's sped it up by 2 full seconds.
