I'm rooting for Simmons. He worked really well on the court with Leonard. Would love to see more of that.
All I'm saying is this will be a big summer for him. He'll be 27 before the season starts. What's his work ethic like? Some guys improve their weaknesses as they get older and some don't.
I'd just like to see some improvements and not just rely on monster dunks. His 3 ball was a good start last season.
If any environment can convince him to improve his fundamentals and get away from relying on pure athleticism, it'll be playing for the Spurs...
Sorry. BillMc already posted the roster.

No Milutinov? No LJC? No Ndoye?
But we did bring over 32 year old Lorbek?
Cheers. Yep, I posted it in the Offseason thread too.
Bertans MIA?
Lorbek is actually on the roster.
I hope LJC and Bertans make the Vegas roster. Not a fan of Anderson returning, I think Murray should handle the ball as much as possible.
Interesting to see what Lorbek has
A little surprised to see KA on the roster. Glad to see Murray will indeed be playing.
Really hope we get to see some of LJC/Bertans/Milutinov in Vegas. Those guys were some of the biggest reasons I was looking forward to the SL.
Disappointed that Bertans, Milutinov, or LJC are not on the roster. Maybe for Vegas?
Happy to see Murray is in fact there. Buford made it sound doubtful before.
Yeah, the SL roster isn't as cool as I was hoping it would be. Hopefully, Anderson (and Simmons, though especially Anderson) is just part of Utah so he can show off whatever he's been working on. Would love to see a stroke. Really excited about Lorbek being part of the roster, though.
Who does everyone predict the SL will be? I'm thinking Forbes, Murray, Anderson, Cady and Lorbek with Simmons as the sixth man (as he was in Vegas). Though I'd love to see Forbes, Murray, Wise (by default), Anderson and Cady. Would be a strong indicator of Kyle moving to the four, which would at least show some change in his curve.
Murray
Simmons
Anderson
Lalanne
Lorbek
Not the most exciting roster and as everyone knows I love Anderson and like Simmons and Murray was my draft pick for the 2016 draft. It's just I wanted to see our European players there too.
Edit: I should rephrase: I am actually glad to see Murray there. RC had cast a shadow of doubt he could play if his contract wasn't negotiated early. It looks like they have or expect to b4 the games start. That's good news!
Agreed. Maybe some of them show in Vegas? (This is the Utah team)
According to Spurs.com, all 3 games in Utah will be on NBATV:

Are those all EST?

All times CDT.
Gonna put off cancelling cable for another week so I can watch SL.
Will they be on espn 3 too? I don't have nbatv
Not really interesting. Have you seen the guy's face? Lebron, Westbrook, & Raymond licking their chops waiting to drive to the paint on that bum
Games are on espn 3 also. Whew almost had to pay for NBA tv
