yeah but that's irrelevant.. the less the weight, the smaller the amount of energy is spent to move, that's physics. And if you see much posting up on a sf in today's nba, especially in irrelevant games like those that lakers play, well i don't know what to tell you. Bottom line is, he is tired because his fitness level is bad. It has nothing to do with the amount of weight he carries. Now, why does he defend badly and has trouble getting good position on offense is a completely different discussion.
sure, if the energy would be a constant, but it isn't . That energy has to be produced by something, which in human beings is generated through muscles, so low muscle mass means low energy capability. If he would never touch another player on the court (just run and shoot) he'd still need muscle mass for explosion and stamina. So because he is underdeveloped physically he has to overexert himself to play to the physical level (stamina, explosiveness, strength) of the league median, even without considering contact with other players.

His body and conditioning belongs to a text book example of an ectomorph 19 year old . It's no surprised he's struggling, I mean he's younger if not the same age as most prospects entering the 2017 NBA draft.

I laughed when most analysts had him at # 1 last year, the talent gap between him and Simmons is so huge. Ingram is going to be a project, maybe 3 full seasons before we see what he's made of.

Won't take that long but of course Simmons is the better ready now prospect he has a man's body and his dad was a pro ...
