Thank you Tim. I have been a Spurs fan for 31 years and these were the 19 best by far. It's unbelievable rooting for a team that has a real shot at a le every single year for 19 years. I can't imagine that ever happening in the NBA again. Fifty wins every year except in 1999 when the team won at a 61 win pace. I know it has to kill Tim to walk away from the game that he worked at like no other and I hope he is involved in the league (and especially the Spurs) somehow in the future. Godspeed Tim, you're the greatest.![]()
In trying to think of one of my favorite memories of Timmy, for some reason this one popped up in my mind.

Tim Duncan Smoothly Gives Fan The Finger In Most Boring And Fundamentally Sound Athlete Meltdown Ever

"And now his watch is ended"
Ugh I am too sentimental. Goodbye, legend.
NBA.com can't even dedicate 1 of 6 photo spots to one of the Goats retiring. I'd instantly fire some people if I was in charge.
Damn lump in my throat, trying to get some work done but all I want to do is read articles and watch videos of the GOAT. Having him one more season would have truly been a value, not because of his play, as it's evident that has taken a sharp decline, but because of his on-court leadership.
Boss status.
One did it quietly the other arrogant.
But few did it better.
end of an era ...
Tim was like the WIRE.
It was tactical, at times methodical.
YOu had to pay attention to get his greatness.
some of it went over the common fan's heads.
But the true hoopers we all know how great he was.
HE didnt have the flashy moves of Hakeem or personality of Shaq.
He had that bank shot, the flip shots the positional blocks not the Dwight howard volley ball es.
Best career for a big since Kareem.
Its sad, but at the same time he gave his all to the game, after 2014 those 2 seasons were bonus tracks, we are spoiled fans and still have a compe ive team no stinky rebuilding.
Only the best for you Tim!
Thanks for all those years and memories!
Thank you Tim..
Tim has been there since my 8th grade year in middle school.. ing long ass time.. Too bad we couldnt send him off like David.
I will drink several Karbach Rodeo Clowns in your honor today Tim![]()
