I wonder how people can actually watch that . I guess I'm not a nerd because I've never known anyone personally into anime. Every once in a while I'll pass through adult swim and I'm like who the watches adult cartoons? Talk about sad. I guess I'm just wired differently. The other day Simpsons commercial came on tv and I could feel my blood boil at that stupid still being on tv. There's nothing worse than a fat old fart making a Homer Simpson reference. I just wanna spit right in there faces.

but anyway, not a fan of AOT, the main character is a fkn emo pos...the other characters less screen time but their character development is better then main guy,

Kid is gone through the middle 3rd of the entire 1st season
I'd consider him the 'main character' but he certainly does not hog the screen time.

climax of anime eps in the storyline, then the author takes a 1 or 2 week break due to holidays or some , comes back? gives u a eps/chapter... story telling

same with other that has good story line, then all of a sudden they rush it and end it in a couple of chapters after building up that arc...it likes bleach now, ending in another 3 manga chapters from what i read, yet the baddest mofo from season 1 is bound free from his wheel chair going to fight with the lord quincy juhabach..

Haven't watched anime in like six years. Tried getting back into it a couple times but couldn't find any show that held my attention. So yeah, none of my recommendations are new shows obviously..

baccano, samurai Champloo, rurouni kenshin, fma brotherhood, darker than black, etc

You're not missing out. The modern anime is jusy filled with ridiculous cliches and ots not anime anymore unless there's a 12 year old lolicon or some weird ass wannabe cool japanese are weird .

Really don't know what else to recommend. I'd give Makonouchi ippo a shot if i were you. Best sports anime. Hunter x hunter is amazing...but that will never end so dont bother with it.

Other than that, i can't really think of any other anime that isnt filled with gay or is in continuous run.

Maybe try Berserk.

I was done with bebop and champloo--- they were relatively short, but am currently on FMA (8th episode). Its already really good this far in so I'm guessing it ends strong.

i'm not advocating anime or anything but there are definitely a couple solid ones out there (DBZ, Gundam wing, OPM, outlaw star) but yeah most of them are pretty gay but lol at people clowning on anime watchers but being obsessed with fantasy shows like GoT or got biker shows like sons of anarchy
