Short-attention span guy will be unable to pivot from the primary politics that won him the GOP nomination and will come off as a bully, and an intellectual lightweight. It will play well to the converted, but bomb with the uninformed middle that makes the actual decisions in our national elections.

I doubt he does that. I think he is going to continue on with the same strategy that got him to this point. Insults, name calling, screaming, baiting, I will be highly surprised if he come in actually looking Presidential. On top of everything else all his wack job supporters are hoping he continues on the same path, and would probably be highly pissed if he didn't go all in on her. They just fail to realize that Trump isn't going up against the Jeb's and the Cruz's of the world. The Democratic ground game will make sure to turnout Democrats in huge numbers, despite not being overly enthusiastic about their candidate. Republicans, like my father, will simply stay home.

Trump is far, far behind in that ground game effort, and his squabbles with the RNC will cost him any good help they might have been able to provide. This election means the GOP will be one or even two cycles behind the Dems in terms of developing that infrastructure.

This will lead Hillary to be likely re-elected, should she choose to run.

The GOP has burned itself badly in the minds of many independents and young people.

I think Trump has little room to improve his image and policy stance in the last 30 days. That cake is baked in.

The fact all of Trump supporters are begging for a bombs like revelation from wikileaks to be the thing that decides this is really sad. Specially since that's not going to matter. Even if something big were to come out.

I didn't even register to vote until last week. I am 38 y/o and live in Maryland (about as Blue a state you will have in the union) I want to see the tears of Trump's wackjob supporters come Nov 9th. That's the only thing I am looking forward to.

Jeb and Cruz kept for some reason engaging with him in those ridiculous back and forth's that plays to Trump's strengths. He got under both their skin and it showed. He's the king of one-liners. Hillary letting him speak 1) eliminated his famous one-liners that he destroyed Jeb and Cruz with, 2) letting him rant on and on he pretty much usually shoots himself in the foot, Rosie O'Donnell.
