    As I just mentioned in another thread, I think Herman would have been a lock for LSU if not for Strong ting the bed this season. Now that his dream job looks like it's going to be available, I doubt he ends up in Baton Rouge. That's not a knock on LSU at all - it's a great job that will attract lots of great coaches. It's just that it's been an open secret for a while now that Texas is Herman's dream job.

    They can offer a ton and he will build an instant power at that job. But if what CN said is true about Texas being his dream job then that will be tough for LSU to compete with.
