Congrats on the crazy win, b

This feels great, no doubt. But the boys in blue got a lot of work ahead of them. 8 more wins worth, to be exact.
Obviously you never want it go to a do or die situation in baseball. But if it must, then these Cubs playing at Wrigley is in fact the best case scenario. Their home numbers(pitching, hitting & fielding) were downright dominant.
How do you figure? He sucked in the World Series.
Yeah, I know. He should've won it for the Royals
I get all that, but sometimes there's less pressure on the road. There are so many ghosts at Wrigley. Either way it was huge for them to win Game 4, especially how they won. Coming back like that has got to be a huge psychological boost not only to the Cubs themselves but to their fans. When you're always waiting for the other shoe to drop and it doesn't, that's major.
At any rate, I'd like to see a 1995 Indians-type outcome for the Cubs- win a ton of games, have one of the best seasons in franchise history, get to the World Series for the first time in eons, then lose (to my Tribe, natch.) If the Indians weren't in it, I have to admit that despite my dread at how obnoxious their fans would be, I'd like to see the Cubs pull it off.
That is true. I would have given him my vote
Scherzer spitting fire tonight, though it helps the Dodgers are pretty inept...
how the do you leave the bases loaded five times in a series?!
Welp, guess this is where the Nationals choke.
Damn, dis gettin gud...
The Dodgers are actually bringing in Kerchoke, one of the least clutch pitchers in baseball, to close a winner-take-all playoff game. Bold strategy, Cotton, let's see if it pays off.
Edit: Never mind, Jansen is on the mound. Guess someone told Roberts how re ed that idea was.
Nope, here comes Kershaw...
They're actually bringing him in!
Welp, really thought Murphy would get it done.
You gd rights. CK put 'em down like in' dogs.
Well, daddy, you thought wrong.
CK erased 'em. Like they weren't even there.
I guess the Curse of Les Boulez trumps the Kershaw choke gene.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!
The NLDS game 5 curse is finally over.
Now I can watch the NLCS stress free, since I won't be too mad if the Cubs win.
Jansen and Hill were men tonight. Love Kersh, but ain't gonna blow him. He SHOULD be able to get two guys out, 1 day rest or not. His post-season demons still aren't exorcised, imo.
& that is exactly what he did. Had to sit there and take it, Midst. Don't worry, dad, you weren't alone. Media was sittin' right next to ya.
muhahahahahahahahahahha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He needs to really dominate next series for all the questions to be erased (at least until the World Series). Tonight was a of a start, though
Silver lining is that Kershaw prolly can't pitch before game 3. Cubbies really gotta come outta the gates 2-0 here in this situation. Anything less is simply unacceptable.
Big surprise; Nats choke again in the first round. Move their asses back to Montreal.
Andrew Miller is just disgusting.
