    Congrats.

Tribe and Cubs in the World Series. Is this is a sign of the Apocalypse?
As long as it comes after the World Series, tbh.

If the Cubs win, he should be enshrined in the HoF the very next day. His plaque should read "The Cursebreaker" and nothing more needs be said, tbh.

CK's location, obviously due to pressure, seems to crash in the post-season. Throwing strikes isn't enough, you have to throw strikes in pinpoint locations with margins of error of less than 5". Kershaw seems incapable of doing that consistently in the playoffs. Contrast him with Hendricks, who is painting every area he needs to hit.
Chokeshaw is the Chris Paul of Beisbol, folks wrongly compare him to Peyton Manning who actually has beaten Brady multiple times & won a le as the best player on the team.

When did Fivehead ever do that? Not in 2006, when the defense dragged him to it. Not last year, when he was a TOSB and the defense dragged him to it.

Yep. And the Dodgers are the in' Clippers of baseball.

I didn't expect to win this series, but the Dodgers weren't even compe ive over the last 3 games. in' put up a 3 hitter in an elimination game.

Pey-Pey scorched Billacheat's defense in the second half of the '06 AFC championship game which was essentially the SB:

If anyone was carried, it was Brady in 2001.

Cubs also pitched a poor man's perfect game against the Dodgers

Now onto basketball season. Can't wait to see the comedy the Spurs will have in store for us this season. 70 wins and a first round exit?

Rangers have been to the big dance though. I think the Nationals are a better comparison.

That pic of Hendricks is sick, btw. You'd never be able guess the score by looking at his face. Dude's got pure ice in his veins.

I knew we were outmatched this series, but the Dodgers choking asses didn't even make this game fun (unless you're a Cubs fan). I wanted to at least see some tight late innings and Wrigley's collective booty hole getting tight, but the Dodgers couldn't even do that. in' bums.

    Anyhow, congrats Lefty20 and FkLA.
& where was the fire today? Christ, he was going a mile a minute. A in' mess.

We didn't take a hold of it at 2-1. That was our moment to put them under our thumb. Roberts grabbed the Manual and went step-by-step.

By the time we finally got back to K we/he was under ELE & wanted no part of it.

    Total loss, but, some highlights:::

    *Gonzalez being a thorough professional.
*Turner tipping his cap several times to the opposition (once even here Vs. the D'Backs). It warmed the les.
    *Puig getting banished---& rising again.
*The lineup coming together and the roster stretching to meet it.

Fivehead threw only 3 TDs to 7 INTs in the playoffs that year. His playoff passer rating that season was lower than any other Super Bowl "winning" QB. His defense dragged him to it by only giving up 16.3 PPG in the playoffs.

Big Dummy, he went up against the top 3 defenses that season: Ravens/Cheatriots/Bears along w/ the Chiefs who had a very good pass defense that season.

He outplayed Brady & dragged the Colts to victory after an 18 point deficit, the 18-point comeback remains the biggest in an NFL championship game.

    Pey-Pey vs. Brady: 3-2
    You: Mad!
