Yeah, 03' when I was more invested in the Cubs hurt and I had only been a fan since the Sosa/McGwire Home run race. I can't even imagine the torture long time diehards are going through. Having to wait for this rain delay makes it that much worse.You're lucky you're not that invested in baseball

These rain delays are why I am for every baseball stadium to have a dome
I didn't sleep for 2 days after game 6, and felt like a dumbass for it, being that invested. But at least Spurs fans had the prior 4 les to look back to and weren't experiencing a 108 year old drought.
I don't think there's anything comparable to the amount of heartbreak we'll see from the diehards in the fanbase. Maybe Wide Right and the Netherlands (as you know, the Cubs of soccer) losing to Spain in '10.
