Manu to start per WOJ
Big opportunity for Kyle, tbh..make or break time..
Green will be missed, but...October. Non-issue.
Hopefully the injury isn't one of those lingering ones tho...Spurs can't afford for him to be in & out, nor can they afford another mid-thirties 3P% season from him.
Damn, could be a pretty rough start to the season...
Good point. He should absorb more minutes, in support of the back court. We'll see what happens.
Manu might start, but I don't expect his minutes to increase significantly..
I don't really believe in Simmons, so it'll be up to Kyle to show something IMO..
Green is the most durable player on the team, this is Anderson's best shot to prove himself IMO..
Yup. Can't be a matter of who he's on the court with, he's gotta show up regardless.
Considering we won 67 games without him last season, not even concerned tbh
Dijon will get some run
Manu should start...Perfect chance for Anderson to show his value as a main guy off the bench.
Me rikey...
Meh, Cowboys are 5-1, I'm satisfied, even if the SA Sprs go 20-62
Most likely, Simmons will start but we might see Kawhi at the 2 & Kyle or Bertans at the 3.
Manu will need to get his reps w/ the bench crew so I don't see him starting.
Danny will be missed, especially his defensive on opening night. Big time... Hopefully other guys step up his absence defensively and with his ability to spread the floor
The team is going to get nuked on opening night w/ Enrique/Evita trying to guard Curry/Klay.
I'd like to see Bertans start myself tbh.
Oh well, at least we're set in the middle on defense because we have Dunc- oh wait
Beating the SuperWarriors on opening night in their own stadium was a long shot to begin with. At least now we have an excuse tbh.
Either way, still the 1st game of the season...a win or a loss wouldn't mean much except 1/82.
Too green and doesn't bring any defense. Manu may be old, but he is crafty and can run the offense. Let Bertans bring his shooting off the bench.
Bertans is better of being the designated gunner w/ the bench unit, Porker isn't going to pass him the ball as the 5th option.
Even as my #2 sports team gets clobbered and fades into the horizon after the retirement of its greatest ever, I can take solace in my #1 having arguably the brightest future of any team in the sports world with a pretty damn good present as well as the club continues to get healthier.
Now show a clip of Jonathon Simmons on defense. It's sure to be even funnier.
