We still have the same instincts as we did in our Ancestral environment, 100,000 years ago. I doubt, this is something your American High School education covered.

probably your idea that we stopped evolving, evolution isn't something that just hits the brakes. Sure we split from a common ancestor and have been sapiens for thousands of years but that doesn't mean we aren't evolving.
It takes a long time for changes to occur, 100,000 years is nothing, we have pretty much the same biology as we did 100,000 ago. My point about everyone being racist stands.

A few years ago a science team did a simulation of marriage patterns and said that human evolution would result in two species....tall skinny and rich, vs short and fat. They said it's take thousands of years and is unlikely to happen,(humans well stop having sex around 2070) but obviously I'd be in the good species if there were a split
