if only Del Rio would've let Matt Jones out of his doghouse
How is this team compe ive/somewhat relative year after year? They are easily the worst regarding fanbase/attendance. They play in a tough division. Outside of MJD can you name another 5 players on their team? I sure as can't. I'm high.

Matt Jones was great when he was doing rails in the huddle
You can't win if you don't bring up Garrard, AK or Knighton.
EDIT: Ah, the 5 players thing.
Seriously, they are one of many teams that can beat anyone or get blown out by anyone. Parity at its best.

i think they are pretty much the team that started chris bermans "yeah but" thing he always says.
I think Del Rio deserves a lot of credit. The Jags never really seem to beat themselves. They're usually among the least penalized teams in the league. You can beat them on talent but they're not just going to hand you the football game on a platter. That's a sign of quality coaching IMO.
I'll get a first-hand look at the Jags when the Browns play down there on Sunday.
Has their helmets always been metallic bluish-green? Or am I losing my eyesight...
Wonder what they would be called if they were to relocate to the L.A. area...
I think it's been metallic for awhile now, though not as long as the Eagles'.
and knowing LA, they don't like to bother with changing names (Minneapolis Lakers, Brooklyn Dodgers, Oakland Raiders, etc).

What's sad is that even though he was high on coke/suspended/hurt for 90% of his time with Jacksonville, if you look at the numbers he's still easily their best receiver during his time with them.
bump.
The cats are still alive and well atop the AFC South, and look to finish at least 9-7 with this remaining schedule:
Oakland
@Indianapolis
Washington
@Houston
Colts remaining schedule:
@Tennessee
Jacksonville
@Oakland
Tennessee
Looking good for Indy. That Jags-Colts game should be a good one.
how is that looking good for Indy?
Indy has probably the worst run defense in the league and those are 4 big time run teams.
I wish I was a Chris Johnson owner starting this week.
MJD is that , stylin all over the place.
Chris Johnson rarely does anything against Indy. 2 easy wins against Tenn, tbh.
a loss to oakland tbh
mcfadden for 150 yards and 2 tds imo
They're not playing San Diego 2 weeks in a row...wouldn't surprise me if they lose to the Jags like they did to Miami.
Oh okay...so watching the NFL on a HD T.V. is definitely better watching...because I've never notice the sheen on the Jags' helmets prior to this season.
+1. My favorite player in the league, tbh.
I think Indy runs the table and Jax goes into Week 17 at Houston with a 9-6 record. If the Jags win that game and they both finish 10-6, who gets in?
They would be 1-1 head-to-head and I think they would have the same divisional record (4-2) and conference record (both with 2 out of conference losses).
I dunno. CJ had 113 against the Colts last December.
Of course, Young was the starting QB, so CJ could have run for (-113) and (-2) TDs it wouldn't have mattered. The W was locked in.
M Bush may even crack 100
It goes into a whole list of things.
http://home.earthlink.net/~ob1gui/nflrules.htm
- Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
- Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
- Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
- Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
- Strength of victory.
- Strength of schedule.
- Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
- Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
- Best net points in common games.
- Best net points in all games.
- Best net touchdowns in all games.
Another interesting stat on the Jaguars--at least going into last week--was that they were first in the league with the fewest 3-and-outs. Good
He didn't on us like he did everyone else last year.
I honestly have no idea why or how they are so good..I sleep on them every week, I still don't believe they're a legit team, but I guess their record speaks for itself..
8-5 now. Huge game next week at Indy. If they beat the Colts (don't see that happening) they will have locked up the division with 2 games remaining. Nobody predicted that back in August
Only the best
