Back at you bro. Nice thread.![]()
He's like Memphis Pau in Z-Bo's body.![]()

34 very effective minutes. He was great.. Spurs don't win this without that game from him TBH.
Yeah, but then toward the end he was saying how he wanted to "separate" himself in the league, and he asked Kawhi and Tony and "even Tim" questions in order to improve. He also was focused more on leadership than most rookies - let alone 20-year olds.![]()
Mega Leks has been developing some good players. I was calling for Jokic, before that draft. But to be fair, the Spurs would have had to pass on Fathead.![]()
He played like a top 10 pick in the summer league. He's had elite slashing ability since he entered the league.
Everyone plays bad, your view was he was a bad player, there's a difference.
I haven't looked at his game stats but I thought he played a decent game. He played under control, which is what I really look for right now in his development. I especially liked the play where he missed the dunk, but grabbed the loose ball and found LMA for the easy layup.
the Spurs must have hired Crash Davis to work the kid.![]()
Kawhi scores 30+ points for his 5th straight game, the first Spur to do that since George Gervin in 1982. Legit.
CROFL
I have the hunch that the Spurs just did a Make a Wish thing with Kyle.
Can we get the delorean with the flux capacitor and redo that draft pick?????
"I just want to do my best and, the good Lord willing, things will work out. I know... it's boring... write it down."
That was a nice play indeed.
and he got some buckets in transition for himself too.
I thought he was fine.
That one is on Spurs foreign scouting.
TBH for a team that scouts so many foreign players they have missed on foreign prospects. Livio too..
Jokic has a little bit more in his offensive arsenal though. Only thing is, Pau in his 20s wasnt a terrible defender.
Jokic is an amazing Big Playmaker. He's singlehandidly revived the nuggets offense the last 10 games. When he gets the ball in the high post, it's almost always a basket for Denver.
Strange things afoot at the Circle K dude.
Kawhi has scored 30+ 17 times in his career, 5 of those have come in the last 10 days.
Pau could shoot 3s but didn't b/c it wasn't vogue in the early 2000s & I said in Z-Bo's body b/c his severe lack of athleticism is what makes him a defensive liability.
Anyone got a link to the Murray postgame? Thanks in advance
Murray is the youngest Spur to score 24 points or more since Parker in 02.
Just watching the game now and Jokic - my goodness. What a truly gifted player especially with regards to passing. Wow.
