Overblown . It's not overblown - it's just truth. Mills is a damn fine player. He's not a good PG. Especially if you are judging him as a starting PG in this league.
You guys act like he can't even drible the ball up the court. He's a shoot first PG? Yeah, just as 99% of the PG's in the NBA today. If anything, I like the fact that he can be effective without the ball on his hands and be a 3pt threat.

Or it was against the Sixers who didn't give a . Maybe that game spurred them to how much they've improved now.

Sure, but that doesn't have anything to do with the point you are trying to make. No one is saying he isn't good or can't play off the ball.

But he pretty much can't dribble the ball up the court against pressure . I've literally seen him pressed multiple times in the playoffs and cough it up. He is not a shoot first PG. He's a shoot first small SG. He's nothing like 99% of the starting PG's today.

Forbes didn't show much... but at least he was more confident and did some ball handling this time...
Forbes got time - that was the big thing for him. I wish Dijon had performed better when it mattered, but he did bounce back in the 4th quarter - even if it was garbage time. He will benefit from every minute on the floor, too. Simmons and Kyle looked particularly good. I was happy and excited for them.

Kyle gave a great post-game interview - very relaxed and genuine without a bunch of cliches. He is extremely likable. I hope Pop figures out how to optimize him next season.

You think Ginobili will have to get a 5% increase on his 14 milly next year? Whoa...

Heh. See the big grin. That's a clue. I'm just stirring the pot a little.

I do think Patty is going to get paid. And I think he's going to move on if he isn't going to be the starter here. And with another bump in the cap coming, he really could be hard to keep.

And then Dragic misses the free throw. Pretty annoying how many lucky breaks the Warriors get

Agreed with Dijon. He was bound to regress some.
Good games by Kyle and JSimms too. Despite the fandom rivalry we make up between guys, I think there's absolutely no drama with them and they enjoy being in the same team. For Kyle I thought he looked tired at the end. I just hope he built up confidence in this stint and is readier than he was to start the season. He's shooting that 3 more too. To me all the young Spurs are very likeable. I totally expected Davis to play more too.

I think you're absolutely right and it makes me sad, but bidness be's bidness...
I'm of the opinion that he's going to make the team that signs him to a bigg'un is going to be sorry.
Not Bismack Biyombo sorry, but not too far off.

    Not far at all.

And he's too short to be a SG. But, to be fair, Patty's AST rate is up substantially this season, and his FTA/36 is down. I actually think he's a great backup PG. I think becoming a starter is going to expose him too much.
